Day four hundred seventy.

Some days Adeline can't wait to get out of the house.

Day two hundred ninety-five.

Aubrey isn't feeling well today and Adeline has been over-anxious to get outside. After finishing vacuuming the crumbs underneath her high chair she politely asked if she could play outside. We were more than happy to oblige and thought it a wonderful opportunity for a photo shoot.

When she saw this picture she was a little disappointed that we had to cut off her ponytail.

It took her a bit of time to get used to the feel of the grass on her skin. By the time we were ready to go inside she was just getting used to it.

Day eighty-six.

Tonight Adeline was a karaoke star. Who knew that she could scream out those Rolling Stones hits. Actually I think this one was Bohemian Rhapsody... Such passion.

Day sixty-six.

I think Adeline is a little unsure of the Fourth of July. That's Ok though, children need to be taught these things.

So I guess Idaho Falls has the most spectacular Independence Day show this side of the Mississippi. I have been guaranteed that this show will blow Heber's out of the water. I will see what I can do to get some photographs of the actual fireworks.

Day fifty-five.

This is what happens when Aubrey goes walking and leaves the bathing and dressing to me. Adeline loves her little cowgirl shirt.

As I was taking this picture she was trying to laugh. I say trying because it looked like a laugh, but sounded more like a cry.

Day forty-six.

Some days I run a bit short on time. Sometimes I am tempted to post a picture that is a day or two old rather than taking a new one. I think that very few people would ever know the difference.

Today was one of those days. I was about to post an old picture, but then I thought, "Maybe no one else would notice, but I would." Then I started feeling guilty. I guess what I am trying to say is... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for thinking about not posting a current picture.

After I went through all that in my head, I walked right into Adeline's room. She either had the hiccoughs or was laughing. Either way she was smiling when I got to the crib. She was only half awake, but was moving too much to get a clear picture. I gave her a pacifier, hoping that would do the trick so I wouldn't have to use the flash. That didn't work, the pictures were still too blurry. Then I turned on the flash and took the pacifier out. This image is the result.

Day twenty-four.

We have a plan to get back in shape. We watched the Suns game last night at my parents. That means we ate every type of candy imaginable. We went on a nice walk this morning to counter-act the candy effect. We walked for a couple of miles.

On the way home we stopped into the local dollar shop. It was way ghetto. We walked around inside for a few minutes because I am on the lookout for a bird toothpick dispenser. While we were in the store, we heard the owner ordering a bunch of men's and women's shoes. He ordered ten real suede boots. It was kind of creepy.

Oh yeah, about the picture... she gets upset if we take away her pacifier.
