Day four hundred fifty three.

She likes to watch Sesame Street so she can dance to the music.

A busy week for Adeline. Dancing, walking, a new haircut. No wonder her morning naps have been three hours long.

Day two hundred ninety-five.

Aubrey isn't feeling well today and Adeline has been over-anxious to get outside. After finishing vacuuming the crumbs underneath her high chair she politely asked if she could play outside. We were more than happy to oblige and thought it a wonderful opportunity for a photo shoot.

When she saw this picture she was a little disappointed that we had to cut off her ponytail.

It took her a bit of time to get used to the feel of the grass on her skin. By the time we were ready to go inside she was just getting used to it.

Day ninety.

These pictures are proof that Grandma and Grandpa Carter keep the temperature at their home at least 7.5 degrees colder than we do.

The picture on the left is before we left home this morning. The picture on the right is just after Aubrey picked Adeline up.

Day fifty.

I thought I would post these photos side by side to further illustrate how difficult it is to take a no-flash picture of Adeline without a pacifier. As you can see in picture B, Adeline does not hold still enough to allow the camera to take a focused picture. She holds completely still (even her hands are still) with a pacifier, as in picture A.

Day twenty-two

It is almost 2 A.M. We just got home from another 24 party. Fortunately, we didn't have another run in with the crazies. We took these pictures as soon as we got home because I knew I could count them as day twenty-two pictures. After the pictures we had to change her because of a leaky diaper. So much for cute outfits.

Day sixteen.

Adeline got very little sleep last night. When we woke up today I tried to put her on her play-mat. She seemed to be more amused with it today.

We are going to run some errands and I am going to get a haircut. Today is our second wedding anniversary. It looks like we are going to have my mom babysit for us. That means we will introduce Adeline to her first bottle... very exciting. I hear it is smart to introduce them in the first few weeks, especially if they are going to be using the bottle a lot during the first year. We will see how she does.

Right now Aubrey is a bit frustrated because her clothes don't fit exactly the way she wants them to. Welcome to my world... this sympathy weight is killing my wardrobe.

We went to my parents so Aubrey could work on a quilt with her Singer Featherweight sewing machine. Adeline got dressed up real cute like, but after a few hours she felt a little more casual.
