The one year birthday is creeping upon us. Only one week to go. Adeline is going to have a pretty simple birthday. She will be saving her strength for the Cinco de Mayo party later that week.
This girl loves to play. Lately she has been seen with two little stuffed puppies (one of which you can see in the foreground of this photo). She carries these puppies or similar stuffed animals everywhere she goes, one in each hand. I call it her death grip. There are times when she refuses to release those poor stuffed animals.

Love the crazy piggie tails. Jordan used to wear her hair much the same way. One was always high and the other low. Too cute.
Those are post-nap pigtails. She also has the post-nap "shirt tucked into diaper" going on.

Is it just me or does it seem she has grown a lot in the last few weeks? Who knows? Maybe I am just being deceived because she sags her baggy jeans.
I love the use of the toes, curled up and ready to spring into action should the occasion call for springing into action.
When you say 'carries...everywhere she goes' is she walking now?

That is ok, she is actually trying to save Landon from feeling inferior. Once he starts crawling she will start walking.
